Looking for a night out? A winter wonderland? Look no further. Aurora is the go-to spot for fun, holiday festivities. I'm so excited to have the opportunity to partner with Aurora Winter Festival this holiday season.

Step inside the mystical world of Aurora and take a look at the dazzling light garden, full of sparkling trees, flowers and animals. I loved the hanging branches on the trees and large, animal, light sculptures. It made for some great shots! #aurorawinterfestival

I had a blast going on the Tube Ride and Ferris Wheel. If you love a little adrenaline rush and competition, the Tube Ride is something you must try! Fair warning, it was a long wait for both the tube ride and Ferris Wheel (and we went on a weekday night too). The line up was a little annoying, since you had to line up to sign a waiver and buy your ticket for the ride ($4 each for the Ferris Wheel; Tube Rides are free on weekdays). Then wait again in another line for going on the ride. We probably waited over 2 hours to get on to both rides.

The dangling flowers were so pretty in person, but quite hectic when it came to getting a nice shot. You'll probably need to snap a quick picture for this one and move on. The crowd never stops coming! :) If not, just walking by and taking in the view is amazing as well.

There's some great lighting underneath the polar bears and moose sculptures. Stop by and grab a limb, the white lights make the perfect backdrop. And when you can't feel your own limbs anymore, make sure you get the chance to browse around and check out the food trucks, hot apple cider and mulled wine. You can also take a walk around and check out the market vendors, in the Christmas market, for some nice gift ideas or stalking stuffers.

If your night isn't over yet, check out the frozen river, rent our a pair of skates and skate around with your loved ones. There's so much to do at Aurora Winter Festival, I'm sure you'll be in for quite a busy evening. #aurorafestvan

Hey, I'm Meg

Born and raised in Vancouver, B.C. I often find it difficult to take a step back from my busy life and enjoy what the world has to offer. I am constantly looking for outlets to express my creative mind and passions, whether it is attending local events, looking at the latest fashion trends, travelling or eating until you get a food coma.
