In the city that never sleeps, Singapore is truly a beautiful city to visit. The architecture and cityscape is absolutely jaw dropping. Not to mention, there is a huge variety of food options to choose from.
1) Accommodations
We stayed in a amazing hotel, PARKROYAL on Pickering, one of the few hotels that are committed to being eco-friendly and sustainable. Not to mention, the view from the room was amazing with the greenery and buildings. I love the that hot, humid weather becomes the perfect situation for a nightly dip in the infinity pool.

I loved hanging around by the pool side and the little cabanas situated around the pool, giving guests a little privacy in the common area. The hotel buffet was pretty good as well, with a variety of food options to choose from (such as dim sum, noodle soups, omelettes, candy bar, fondue fountain, etc.).

2) Food
Singapore has a truly wide range of food options and prices. If you are visiting make sure you make a point to try one of their many Michelin Star restaurants. Liao Fan Hawker Chan, a Michelin 1 Star, is the cheapest Michelin Star restaurant, we paid $3 CAD per dish! Make sure you go to the actual Hawker stall, not the store front, as the soya sauce chicken tastes significantly better at the hawker stall. Note: the Hawker stall location sells out fast, and there is always a huge line. So make sure to get there early! :)

L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon, a Michelin 2 Star, in Sentosa was such a indescribable experience. We had a beautiful 5 course meal, where the beef and tuna melted in your mouth, the scallops perfectly seared and all plated beautifully. This experience is so hard to explain because everything was JUST SO GOOD. I was just speechless. You need to try it to believe it.

I loved the rooftop bar, 1-Altitude, that we stopped at during our visit to Singapore. It was such a nice opportunity to take in the night views of the city and lounge around with a Singapore Sling:)

3) Must-Sees
I love the design of Gardens by the Bay and the Cloud Garden. It was so cool to stroll around and look at this man-made garden,it's definitely not your typical garden. The garden looks completely different at night than the daytime, make sure you catch the light show at night!

The ArtScience Museum consists of high tech art installation, playing around with light, sound and digital installations. I loved the pathway of hanging light displays, made to look like Celestial Space.

And finally, step outside the famous Marina Bay Sands to see the city come to life at night. There is also a light/water show that happens nightly, beside the Louis Vuitton store.

Where to next?
