I recently got an exciting opportunity to collab with Exposure Bubble Tea and try some of their popular drinks on the menu, while learning a little more about the company itself. Exposure Bubble Tea, opened late 2018, with their mission of helping local Asian artists, find their voice. Store manager, Andy, spoke on how passionate were in making a difference in the community, along with incorporating the Asian, teenage, hip hop culture into their store. The store display and music was consistent to this, along with their Friday ritual of inviting a DJ into the store to play their track starting at 8:30 pm.

(Left to Right): Peach Ice Tea, EXP Matcha Tea Latte, Torched Cream Cap, Strawberry Milk with Cream Cap, Japanese Roasted Milk Tea)

The EXP Matcha Tea Latte is one of their best sellers on the menu. It was a good balance of milk and matcha in the drink, along with some salty cheese on top (sounds weird, but tastes good!). The Strawberry Milk with Cream Cap was another top seller. It tastes like a strawberry, ice cream milkshake:) Exposure Bubble Tea also makes sure they use good ingredients in their drinks, like Avalon Milk.

The Peach Ice Tea was pretty good as well, with a nice subtle hint of peach flavour. Make sure you grab one of their drinks when it's raining! All drinks are 10% off when raincouver hits town!

You can customize your drink to your preference, by choosing from a list of tea options, for any of the milk tea drinks on the menu (such as oolong, earl grey, etc.).

Keep in mind their menu changes every few months, based on the seasons and special occasions. Look out for new featured drinks on the menu come Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day, for a limited time only!

The shop gets really busy during their Devil's Brown Sugar Fresh Milk hours (1:30 pm, 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm). Make sure to get there on time if you want to try this best seller item. Unfortunately, I missed the time window, as they sold out in half an hour.

Also take a look at their clothing line, while you wait for your order. Their #yvrfuckrain themed clothing is a pretty cool design!

A huge thank you to owner, Tony, and his team for giving me the experience to try their bubble tea :)

Hey, I'm Meg

Born and raised in Vancouver, B.C. I often find it difficult to take a step back from my busy life and enjoy what the world has to offer. I am constantly looking for outlets to express my creative mind and passions, whether it is attending local events, looking at the latest fashion trends, travelling or eating until you get a food coma.
